A1: Not recommended. The SF series 2P Changeover Switch has no arc extinguishing chamber. Always de-energize the circuit before switching, or use only for no-load transfer (e.g., isolator function). For live-load switching, consider motorized ATS or fused switch disconnectors.

A2: The center OFF position ensures complete isolation from both power sources—essential for maintenance safety and preventing backfeed into generators or inverters.
